Commissioned by Adanne Bookstore, a Black woman-owned bookshop in Brooklyn to make the space more vibrant and lively. In addition to selling books, Adanne is a community space hosting events like plant workshops, readings, and more. In their new location, they wanted to celebrate their new home and bring more energy into the space. Inspired by the plant workshops they host regularly, the large mural draws people into the rear of the space where there will be a cafe in the future.
